Orchard Beach Pavilion Vendor - Monshe

Meet Monshe: The Bronx Baker Bringing Cookies to the Beach

Some things just belong at the beach. Cold drinks. Good music. A cookie that actually tastes like a cookie. This summer, the Loggia at Orchard Beach Pavilion is home to a vendor who checks all three
Meet Monshe, a Bronx-born cookie brand built on one simple idea: healthy food should never feel like a punishment.

Baked with love. Built from the Bronx.

Monshe was founded by Melissa Groneveldt, who grew up baking alongside her mother in the Bronx. That kitchen tradition, the warmth, the smell of something good coming out of the oven, became the foundation for everything Monshe makes today. The name itself is a tribute to her mother, Monshelia. This is deeply personal work.

What started as Yummy Tummy4Life in 2020 evolved into Monshe in 2026, a name that honors family legacy and the belief that indulgence and wellness don’t have to be at odds with each other.

What you’ll find at the Loggia

Every cookie Monshe makes is gluten-free, no added sugar and keto-friendly. Soft-baked. Full of flavor. No compromise, no trade-off.

Community baked in

What resonates most about Monshe is that it was never just about the product. From its Bronx roots, the brand has grown into a movement that brings people together: families seeking smarter snacks, individuals managing health goals and anyone who believes that choosing wellness should still feel joyful.

That’s exactly the energy we want at Orchard Beach Pavilion. Local, intentional and real. Find Monshe at the Loggia this summer. Stop by, try a cookie and say hi. We think you’ll be back for more.
