The Bronx Summer Concert Series Is Back at Orchard Beach Pavilion
Every Sunday this summer, the music is on at The Bronx Riviera. Presented by Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, the Bronx Summer Concert Series 2026 returns to Orchard Beach Pavilion every Sunday from July 12 through September 6, 1PM to 5PM.
Live music on the waterfront, in the heart of Pelham Bay Park, straight through to Labor Day weekend. This is not a ticketed event at a concert hall. This is the Bronx doing what the Bronx has always done, bringing people together at the beach with music that reflects the culture of this community.
Music That Belongs Here
The Bronx has deep roots in Caribbean and Latin American music. Salsa, merengue, reggae, these are not just genres here, they are part of how the community celebrates, gathers and lives. The Summer Concert Series brings that music back to the waterfront where it belongs, with artists and performers who understand what it means to play for the audience.
The series kicks off Sunday July 12 with Luisito Rosario, Miriam Cruz and Los Hermanos Morenos, with music selection by DJ Ralph Mercado. New lineups will be announced each week through September 6.
A Full Day at the Pavilion
The concert is the reason to come. The pavilion is the reason to stay.
Orchard Beach Pavilion is open over the weekends from 9AM to 7PM. On concert Sundays, arrive early and spend the morning on the sand before the music starts at 1PM. The lower snack bars along the loggia are open for food and drinks throughout the show. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for purchase so you can set up properly and settle in for the afternoon.
This is a full day out, not just a two-hour event.
The Setting
Orchard Beach sits on the crescent shore of Pelham Bay Park in the Northeast Bronx, overlooking the Long Island Sound. The Pavilion itself is a 1936 Art Deco landmark, recently renovated by NYC Parks and open to the public for the first time in 17 years.
The combination of the architecture, the waterfront and the music makes for something you will not find anywhere else in New York City.
How to Get There
The Pavilion is at 1 Orchard Beach Road, The Bronx, NY 10464.
By subway and bus: take the 6 train to Pelham Bay Park, then transfer to the Bx29 bus toward City Island. On weekends during the summer, the Bx12 also runs directly to Orchard Beach.
By car: parking is $10 on weekdays and $12 on weekends and holidays. Senior discounts are available.
