Orchard Beach Pavilion is the Bronx's beachfront destination. Set inside a 1936 Art Deco landmark on the crescent shore of Pelham Bay Park, the Pavilion is where one of New York City's most beloved public beaches comes alive.
Spend the day on the sand, then come up to the pavilion for fresh food, cold drinks and music that reflects the Bronx itself. Beach classics done right, curated cafeteria, snack bars along the loggia and shopping from local makers. A full-service restaurant opens in 2027.
Free programming throughout the week during the summer and continues year-round: live salsa, merengue and reggae, cultural celebrations, family activities and fitness classes. Easy to reach by car, subway and bus from across the city.
